Wine the Gap.

Sample 7 Hungarian wines from a variety of boutique wineries at a Budapest wine bar. Pair your wine tasting experience with food samples from regional farms.

Full description

Uncork some wines made from Hungarian grape varieties during a wine tasting in Budapest. Deepen your knowledge of local wines and enjoy their taste and aroma, and sample a variety of food from Hungarian farms.
Meet a local wine expert at a central Budapest wine bar. Learn a little about the history of Hungarian wine and the country's different wine regions. Try 7 different wines from both major and lesser-known producers.

Try white wines made from the so-called “unpronounceable grapes,” which locals call cserszegi fűszeres. Then discover Hungary's most famous grape, mint, and try red wines such as Kadarka and oxblood.

Throughout the experience, pair wines with small plates of delicious olives, ham, sausages, tomatoes and a variety of cheeses produced on farms just outside the city.

It was an amazing experience.

The guide had a lot of knowledge and was very polite and witty. The place was very cozy, the wine was excellent, as were the meats, cheeses and bread. We learned a lot about wines, regions and much more. We highly recommend this activity.
